Your Safety Is
Our Number One Priority
MAR builds pre-hospital backup into its whole operation: instructors with EMT training in the water, a paramedic on land throughout the activity and a doctor available remotely. It isn't an extra protocol — it's how we operate.
Pre-Hospital Protocol
Our instructors are pre-hospital care technologists certified by EMT Colombia. The protocols we follow go beyond international dive safety standards.
DAN Global Safety Network
As active Divers Alert Network members, we have access to the world's most established medical emergency hotline and to state-of-the-art marine evacuation protocols.
24/7 Support
Our team is available before, during and after every dive. We run rigorous safety briefings and contingency plans for every trip out to sea.
Small, Controlled Groups
We cap the number of students per instructor so supervision is never stretched. Safety doesn't scale — it's looked after one diver at a time.
What happens in an emergency?
Immediate detection
The instructor identifies the situation and triggers the EMT protocol in under 30 seconds.
Pre-hospital care
Certified staff administer CPR, emergency oxygen or an AED, depending on the clinical case.
Contact with DAN
The Divers Alert Network emergency line is activated for specialist medical guidance.
Coordinated evacuation
Transfer protocol to the nearest medical centre, with the full clinical picture passed on.
